This site exists to start a conversation, not to harvest data. Here is exactly what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to get it removed. No dark patterns, no fine-print surprises.

The short version

We collect only what you hand us: your name, email, and message when you fill out the contact form or book a call. We use it to reply to you and schedule that call. We do not sell it, we do not run advertising trackers, and we delete it on request. Questions go to hello@thepathout.ai.

Who we are

The Path Out LLC ("TPO," "we," "us," or "our") is an AI transformation partner for small and mid-sized businesses. This policy covers the information we handle through our website at thepathout.ai. It does not cover the separate data-handling terms of a paid engagement, which are set out in your service agreement and summarized on our Security & Privacy page.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you use the contact form or book a call, you provide:

Your name and email address, so we can reply and send a calendar invite.
The message you write, including anything you choose to tell us about your business.
Scheduling details when you book a call: the time slot you pick and any notes you add through our booking tool.

You decide what to share. If you would rather not use a form, you can email us directly.

Information collected automatically

Our site is a set of static pages. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects standard technical data, including a shortened form of your IP address (it does not store your full IP). We use it only to improve the site, never for advertising. Like almost any website, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) to keep the site running and secure. Two embedded tools, our booking calendar and our contact-form service, load on the relevant pages and may set their own cookies or collect technical data under their own privacy policies, listed below.

How we use your information

To reply to your message and answer your questions.
To schedule and confirm a call, and to send the calendar invite and meeting link.
To follow up about a potential Discovery engagement, if that is what you reached out about.
To keep the site secure and working, and to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of trusted service providers to run the site and communicate with you. They process your information only to provide their service to us, under their own privacy terms.

Cal.com: Powers the "book a call" calendar. Receives the name, email, and scheduling details you enter when booking.
Web3Forms: Delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox. Receives whatever you type into the form.
Google Workspace: Hosts our email and calendar. Your messages and invites arrive and are stored here.
Render: Hosts this website and keeps the standard technical server logs described above.
Google Analytics: Measures site usage (pages viewed, general location, device). Sets cookies and receives a shortened IP; it is not used for advertising.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Cookies and tracking

We use Google Analytics cookies to measure how the site is used. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to serve you ads. The embedded booking and form tools may also set their own cookies when you interact with them. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on, without affecting your ability to read the site.

How long we keep it

We keep your messages and booking details for as long as needed to have our conversation and for a reasonable period afterward, in case you come back. If a conversation goes nowhere and you would like your details removed, just ask and we will delete them.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to object to certain processing. We honor these requests regardless of where you are. To make a request, email hello@thepathout.ai and we will respond within a reasonable time.

How we protect it

Information travels to our site and providers over encrypted connections, and we limit who can access it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to guard against loss or misuse. For how we handle data during a paid engagement, see our Security & Privacy page.

Visitors outside the United States

We operate from the United States, and our providers may store and process information there. If you contact us from another country, you understand that your information will be handled in the United States, which may have different data-protection rules than your own.

Children's privacy

This site is meant for business owners and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and revise the effective date at the top. Meaningful changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
